Your phone broadcasts the names of previously connected networks. An attacker nearby learns: "home_wifi_john", "Marriott_NYC", "hospital_guest". This is physical-world location history leaking from your pocket.

How to set it up

    On iOS: Settings → Wi-Fi → tap the (i) next to saved networks → Forget networks you no longer use

  2. 2

    Disable auto-join for public networks

  3. 3

    Verify MAC randomization is enabled (default on modern iOS/Android, but check)
